Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Lasso ("the App," "we," "our," or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the App.

Description of Service

Lasso is an iMessage-first commerce platform for Shopify merchants that enables:

• AI-powered customer conversations via iMessage (blue bubbles)
• Product recommendations and checkout link generation
• Customer support automation
• Order tracking and management
• Multi-agent AI system for intelligent responses

Eligibility

You must:

• Be at least 18 years old
• Have a valid Shopify store
• Have authority to bind your business to these Terms
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

Account Registration

• You must provide accurate, current, and complete information
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
• You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
• You are responsible for all activities under your account

Use of the Service

Permitted Use

You may use Lasso to:

• Manage customer conversations via iMessage
• Provide customer support and product recommendations
• Process orders and generate checkout links
• Integrate with your Shopify store

Prohibited Use

You may not:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Infringe on intellectual property rights
• Transmit harmful code, viruses, or malware
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Use the App to spam, harass, or abuse customers
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
• Use automated systems to access the App without permission

Shopify Integration

• You must comply with Shopify's Terms of Service and App Store requirements
• We access your Shopify data only as necessary to provide the App's functionality
• You grant us permission to access your Shopify store data for the purposes of the App
• You are responsible for maintaining your Shopify store and API access

iMessage Integration

• Lasso uses LinqApp for iMessage messaging services
• You must comply with LinqApp's terms of service
• You are responsible for the content of messages sent through the App
• We are not responsible for message delivery failures outside our control

AI and Automation

• The App uses AI to generate responses and recommendations
• AI responses are suggestions and should be reviewed for accuracy
• You are responsible for the content and accuracy of automated messages
• We are not liable for errors in AI-generated content

Fees and Payment

• Pricing is set forth in the Shopify App Store listing
• Fees are billed through Shopify's billing system
• All fees are non-refundable unless required by law
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice

Intellectual Property

• The App and its content are owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws
• You retain ownership of your data and content
• You grant us a license to use your data to provide the App's services
• You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of the App

Data and Privacy

• Your use of the App is subject to our Privacy Policy
• We process data in accordance with GDPR and other applicable privacy laws
• You are responsible for obtaining necessary consents from your customers
• We implement reasonable security measures but cannot guarantee absolute security

Service Availability

• We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service
• We may perform maintenance that temporarily interrupts service
• We are not liable for service interruptions beyond our reasonable control
• We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the App with notice

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

• THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES
• WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED
• WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES
• OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID IN THE 12 MONTHS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from:

• Your use of the App
• Your violation of these Terms
• Your violation of any law or third-party rights
• Content you submit through the App

Termination

• You may cancel your subscription at any time through Shopify
• We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms
• Upon termination, your access to the App will cease
• Data retention is governed by our Privacy Policy

Changes to Terms

• We may modify these Terms at any time
• Material changes will be notified via email or App notification
• Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance
• If you disagree with changes, you must stop using the App

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where we operate, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Dispute Resolution

• Disputes will be resolved through good faith negotiation
• If negotiation fails, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration
• You waive the right to participate in class action lawsuits

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the App.
