01

A recommendation with a reason.

Start with what the shopper asks, then use real catalog information to narrow the options. A useful recommendation names the product, explains why it fits, and gives the shopper a direct route to take a closer look.

The Tecovas example on our homepage uses The Earl and actual product photography. The messages are an illustrative conversation, not a transcript or a claim about conversion performance.

02

Keep the next step close.

Product recommendations and checkout links belong in the same conversation. Customers can ask a follow-up before deciding, while your team keeps the context that would otherwise get lost between tools.

  • Product questions and recommendations
  • Links to products and checkout
  • Order and support context where available
03

Natural language. Deliberate actions.

Asking how to cancel is different from confirming a cancellation. Lasso’s subscription direction treats those as separate steps: identify the customer, select the right subscription, and confirm the change. Text-based subscription execution is still being integrated; we do not treat a keyword as permission to charge or cancel.

Common questions

What is conversational commerce?

Conversational commerce helps people discover products, ask questions, and move toward a purchase through a two-way conversation, rather than a one-way promotional message.

Does a message automatically change a subscription?

No. Subscription changes need verified customer identity, a selected subscription, and a confirmed action. Lasso’s unified text-action experience is in development.
