01

Meet customers in their Shopify account.

A familiar account experience puts subscription information near the rest of a customer’s relationship with your store. Lasso’s customer-account extension includes subscription views and Shopify’s native payment-update experience.

Pause, resume, and cancel flows are part of the integration work. Other actions, including product swaps and delivery changes, are being completed and are reviewed with each early-access store.

02

A payment update should feel familiar.

Customers should not need to send card details in a text or a support ticket. The subscription extension uses Shopify’s native payment-update flow, keeping sensitive payment entry within Shopify’s experience.

03

Learn what the customer actually needs.

A cancellation reason is a starting point for learning. “Too much product” suggests a different operational problem from “payment failed.” Track the reasons separately, make the available choices clear, and avoid using a save offer to hide the cancellation route.

Common questions

Do customers have to send payment details over text?

No. Payment updates belong in Shopify’s native customer experience, not a text conversation.

Are product swaps and delivery rescheduling available?

Those customer-facing workflows are being completed for the unified Lasso subscription experience. We confirm required actions and availability during early-access onboarding.
